Hello!  It's me Laura Lee.  Thanks for stopping by!  

 

You've heard a cat has nine lives, well, I feel like I've had three very different lives up until now.  If you'd like to read on here's a bit more about me, and my three lives.

Growing up in the Seattle area was my first life.  Being the youngest and only girl of four kids in an athletic family was tons of fun.  At the end of my senior year of high school I took first place in my city's scholarship/talent pageant and represented it as a Seattle Seafair Princess, which was a big deal!  Around this time I also modeled at shoe shows around the country, was a top model for an agency in Tokyo, Japan, became a licensed cosmetologist and graduated from college.  I also embraced dancing for most of "this life" and was honored to earn a spot as an NFL Seattle Seahawks cheerleader.

It was towards the end of this phase that I met and married a fine Seattleite.  During his college years he was a whitewater river guide in the summers but then worked in finance on Wall Street for nearly two decades.  When the banking crisis hit in 2008 he traded in big city life and his business suits for comfy cowboy boots and a home in the Rocky Mountains.

​

Life number two began when I started having children, being a mom and living and raising our family all over the world.  We called L.A., New York, Tokyo and London home and two of our four children were born in Japan. During this time I started to publish and one became a best seller for my publisher.  While it was a challenge juggling so many things and raising our active clan away from family we treasure this crazy, adventurous time together.

 

My third life is happening now.  In this phase I find myself living in the Rocky Mountains in the U.S. of A. and most of my children are raised.  My third life includes real estate development, managing properties and fixing up homes, taking them from drab to fab and writing this blog hoping to bring ideas and make your home design a little easier!

 

I'm truly grateful for my three lives and feel blessed for all the good they have brought me. Sure, there have been tough times but they just make the good times that much sweeter.  

 

I've loved all three of my lives but wherever I'm at in life, I always try to remember to be kind, to be grateful and to reach for the stars!
